About our work

We are a growth focused organization that exists to provide and scale access to the experiences, exposure and education that is required for students, families, and communities to flourish.

At Cultivation by Jas, we are deeply committed to planting seeds of purpose, leadership, and opportunity in the lives of youth. Based in South Bend, Indiana, we design and deliver culturally responsive programs that blend youth mentorship, entrepreneurship training, and career readiness for middle and high school students.

Our work centers underserved youth by providing access to hands-on experiences in business, culinary arts, barbering, agriculture, and real estate education. We partner with schools, nonprofits, churches, and community leaders to offer workforce development, CTE-aligned curriculum, and social-emotional learning in environments where students feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Through our youth leadership programs, we help students earn certifications, explore career pathways, and gain real-world skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom. We believe that when young people are given the right tools, mentorship, and exposure—they flourish.

As we expand our impact, we’re actively building partnerships in Chicago, Elkhart, and Niles, Michigan, to create more youth jobs, launch more teen entrepreneurs, and support more future leaders.
